The button-down shirt is an eternal fixture of subculture fashion – smart and neat, but with endless potential for reworking. This time, we chose an extra-fine corduroy as the base fabric for this shirt, with 21 wales per inch to give it an extremely soft hand feel, and give you extra warmth in the colder months. We cut the shirt to our standard block, giving it a button down collar with a 2-finger roll, a fixed back pleat for flexibility, and a locker loop to reference our sporting heritage. We’ve added a subtle nod to our subculture following with a gingham overprint on the chest pocket and the internal collar stand. We finish, as ever, with our Laurel Wreath embroidered to the chest.
